- Foothill – This affluent neighborhood is home to many authorities of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is only a short distance from downtown while also being in the same neighborhood as the University of Utah.
- Murray – The central location of this neighborhood has its own police, fire, and water departments amongst many others. It also has its own school district while having one of the lowest city tax rates in the entire state.
- Sugar House – Sugar House is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Salt Lake City. However, in the past couple of years it has seen great growth, and currently much residential construction is underway.
- The Avenues – As the first neighborhood of Salt Lake City this neighborhood offers an easy commute to downtown. Many young professionals and students call this area home. Much of the neighborhood has been renovated in the past 30 years, making it a very trendy neighborhood.
